Technigraph has been working with Aveda via a strong distribution partner for many years. Aveda and their distribution partner came to Technigraph when first developing their principle natural based product lines in hair and skin care, seeking packaging solutions that would support their corporate mission of sustainability and minimization of waste. In partnership will all the key stakeholders, Aveda / Distributor / Bottle Supplier and Technigraph developed a bottle and decorating strategy to include high PCR content bottles and direct screen print that would minimize impact on the waste stream and be able to go directly back into the recycling stream.
Technigraph spent considerable time working directly with Aveda and their distribution partner during the development process of this solution. The mandate was to source ideal containers and develop high-end direct screen printing techniques to support the Aveda brand and product lines that also supported the sustainability initiatives outlined. Our partnership with Aveda and our distribution partner allowed us to create a holistic solution to both branding and sustainability initiatives, through the use of post-consumer resin bottles that paired well with our direct screen printing capabilities.
THE END RESULT
Horst sold Aveda in 2003 to Estee Lauder who continues to rely on Technigraph in the creation of container decorating solutions for existing and new product lines.
